Coach Ed

Owner of Shrewsbury Gymnastics

Coach Katie

Katie has been coaching at Shrewsbury since 2006 after being introduced by her coaching mentor Marsha Reardon. Although her time as a gymnast herself was short lived and recreational, Katie found new passion at SGS and decided to pursue coaching full time. Since then she has learned from all the greats of this little family and become head coach as well as manager at Shrewsbury. You can find her coaching the team, behind the desk, answering emails and social media, covering the occasional class, and bringing her son Del to work! Katie is a dedicated and determined coach and truly believes that everyone, no matter how experienced, always has something new to learn.

Coach Andrea

Cheerleading and gymnastics has been a part of Andrea’s life since she was 2 years old. Coach Ed was her first gymnastics coach and Shrewsbury Gymnastics was her first home. She became a cheerleader at the age of 7 and continued cheerleading and coaching cheerleading through college. She has been a competitive cheerleading coach for almost 15 years (Pop Warner and All Star). In addition to coaching cheerleading, she has been a gymnastics coach since she was 17. She is also a certified Competitive Cheerleading Judge. Andrea explains, “I love being able to coach athletes in a sport that has been such a big part of my life for so many years.”

In addition to coaching she is a level 1 gymnast and one of the team captains on the Shrewsbury Gymnastics JOGA competitive team. She loves competing alongside her teammates and mentoring them.
